Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

October 24, 2026

Eric Lane Stanley, age 46, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Trespass and two counts of Theft. Bond was set at $ 4295.00. Stanley posted bond and was released.

October 26, 2026

Christopher Lee Scott, age 43, of Leesville, was arrested on an outstanding Traffic Bench Warrant. Bond was set at $ 1500.00. Scott remains in the VPSO jail.

October 27, 2026

Rayshard Lynch, age 23, of Bastrop, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant for Ruston Parish. Lynch remains in the VPSO jail.
