The Leesville Rotary Club welcomed Dr. Geralyn Janice as its guest speaker at a recent meeting at the Leesville Event Center.

Janice represented the Lamar Salter campus at SOWELA Technical Community College in Leesville, where she has performed various duties and continued to advocate for the college and opportunities offered at the campus.

Janice provided an update on instructional programs, adult education initiatives, grant-funded programs and general education paths available to those who apply and are accepted.

The club encouraged members to stay informed about opportunities available locally and share information with others who might benefit.
