The Leesville Police Department partnered with the Louisiana Basketball Boot Camp this week to support local youth.

Sgt. Devin Buterbaugh, Public Information Officer for the Leesville Police Department, attended the camp and witnessed the hard work, determination and commitment demonstrated by athletes as they worked to become stronger competitors and representatives of Vernon Parish and surrounding communities.

The Leesville Police Department extended appreciation to the Louisiana Basketball Boot Camp for investing time, talent and mentorship into the next generation.

The department said the program’s dedication to developing skilled athletes, disciplined individuals and confident young leaders makes a lasting impact on the community.
