Remembering Vivian Annette Prince

Funeral services for Vivian Annette Prince were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Hornbeck First Baptist Church with Reverend Buddy Airhart officiating. Burial followed in Beckom Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers were Joseph Merchant, Austin Merchant, Doug Beebe, Tom Reeks, Greg Lantier, and George Clark, and the honorary pallbearer was Austin Cooley.

Vivian was born April 20, 1959, in Salem, Oregon and passed away February 25, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 65. She called Vernon Parish her home for most of her life.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Delos Euel Prince and Bernice Nicholson Prince, and brother, Gregory Prince.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Sharbeno of Hornbeck, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jewel Merchant (Joseph) of Hicks, Louisiana, and Gwen Sharbeno (Kolbi) of Dry Creek, Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Baylor and Laney Merchant; brother, Delmon Todd Prince (Larissa) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sisters, Janet Beebee (Doug) and Terry Prince Houston all of Hornbeck; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
