Rosepine Chief of Police Delbert Keel has announced an arrest in connection with a vehicle crash on February 23, that claimed the life of an 84-year-old bystander. Vernon Jackson of Rosepine was killed when two vehicles collided at a high rate of speed at the traffic light in Rosepine.

McKenzie Pinzino, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was arrested and charged with Vehicular Homicide, Reckless Operation of a Vehicle, Driving Under Suspension, Speeding, No Proof of Insurance, No Seat Belt, and First Degree Vehicular Negligent Injury.
