Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

September 24, 2026

Harrell Howard Jr., age 51, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Theft. Bond was set at $ 7500.00, Howard posted bond and was released.

Jennifer Rose Anderson, age 39, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule IV Narcotic and one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic. Bond has not been set and Anderson remains in the VPSO jail.

September 26, 2026

Aaron Foster, age 40, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, one count of Obstruction of Justice – Tampering with Evidence, and one outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Foster remains in the VPSO jail.

September 25, 2026

Brian Batson, age 45, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Trespass, two counts of Resisting an Officer, and one count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Goods. Bond has not been set and Batson remains in the VPSO jail.ALL PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
