Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

September 15, 2026

Katelyn Joelle Trauth, age 27, of DeRidder, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $ 11,561.00. Trauth remains in the VPSO jail.

September 16, 2026

Jessica Leanne Causey, age 39, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Resisting an Officer, one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, and one count of Operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Bond was set at $14,900.00. Causey remains in the VPSO jail.

Theda Marie Thomason, age 47, of Rosepine, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic. Bond was set at $ 1561.00. Thomason posted bond and was release.

September 17, 2026

Curtis James Jackson II, age 37, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, one count of Possession of Marijuana, and one count of Turning movements and required signals. Bond was set at $3757.00. Jackson remains in the VPSO jail.
