Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

September 11, 2026

Michael Nelson, age 50, of Pitkin, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant from Pineville. Nelson remains in the VPSO jail awaiting transfer to Pineville.

September 13, 2026

Larry Lynn Brown, age 47, of Leesville, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant from Sabine Parish. Brown was transferred to Sabine Parish.

September 14, 2026

Allanah Mainville, age 28, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, one count of Battery of a Police Officer, and one count of Resisting an Officer. Bond was set at $12,562.00. Mainville remains in the VPSO jail.

September 15, 2026

Hannah Brittian Sander, age 25, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, one count of Possession of Marijuana, and one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic. Bond was set at $ 13,122.00. Sander remains int he VPSO jail.
