The Office of Louisiana Highway Construction joined local leaders and project partners yesterday to celebrate the completion of the new LA 463 bridge over Boggy Branch in Vernon Parish.

The project was delivered in 146 days.

LA 463 serves the Pitkin community and surrounding areas, providing an important connection to schools, medical care, local businesses and other essential services.

In one of Louisiana’s largest and most rural parishes, reliable infrastructure is critical to keeping communities safe, connected and moving forward.

The Office of Louisiana Highway Construction thanked Gov. Jeff Landry, the Legislature, local leaders, project partners and construction teams who helped deliver the project for the people of Vernon Parish.
