Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

September 2, 2026

Tyler McFarland, age 33, of Hineston, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Trespass and one count of Criminal Damage to Property. Bond was set at $ 4795.00. McFarland remains in the VPSO jail.

Evelyn Stracener, age 37, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and one outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond was set at $ 11,561.00. Stracener remains in the VPSO jail.

September 3, 2026

Linda Gable, age 52, of Anacoco, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant from Beauregard Parish. Gable was transferred from the V{SP jail to Beauregard Parish.
