Vernon Parish 4-H celebrated Chad Hagan after he was honored with the Meritorious Service Award during the Louisiana Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals Annual State Convention Awards Supper.

The Meritorious Service Award recognized 4-H professionals with 15 or more years of service who demonstrated innovative youth programming, professional leadership and a lasting commitment to 4-H Youth Development.

Hagan’s years of service had made an impact on 4-H members, families, volunteers and communities throughout Vernon Parish and Louisiana.

Hagan will travel to Kansas City to be recognized by the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals alongside 4-H professionals from across the country.
