Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

August 6, 2026

Marcus Devon Espree, age 32, of New Llano, was arrested and charged with one count of Battery of a Dating Partner, one count of Criminal Trespassing, and two counts of Theft. Bond has not been set and Espree remains in the VPSO jail.

Tracey James Wyble Jr., age 33, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Trespass and two counts of Theft. Bond has not been set and Wyble remains in the VPSO jail.

August 7, 2026

Paul Norman Toussaint, age 23, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery. Bond has not been set and Toussaint remains in the VPSO jail.

August 8, 2026

Derrick James Brister, age 23, of Rosepine, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Damage to Property and one count of Criminal Trespass. Bond has not been set and Brister remains in the VPSO jail. A detainer for the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole has been placed on Brister.

August 9, 2026

Stacey Michelle Bailey, age 40, of Clovis, New Mexico, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic. Bond has not been set and Bailey remains in the VPSO jail.
