A new bridge on LA 463 over Boggy Branch in Vernon Parish is now open to traffic following completion of construction.

The bridge is located approximately 2.8 miles north of the intersection of LA 10 and LA 113.

The original bridge, which was constructed in 1944, was closed in April 2026 and replaced with the new structure.

The Office of Louisiana Highway Construction completed the project in partnership with Vernon Parish through its accelerated bridge delivery program.

The new bridge is now open to motorists.
