The Leesville Police Department partnered with the Louisiana Basketball Boot Camp to support local youth.

Sgt. Devin Buterbaugh, public information officer for the Leesville Police Department, attended the camp and observed the athletes as they worked to develop their skills and represent Vernon Parish and surrounding communities.

The department thanked the Louisiana Basketball Boot Camp for investing time, talent and mentorship into the next generation, recognizing its efforts to develop skilled athletes as well as disciplined and confident young leaders.

The Leesville Police Department said it is proud to support programs that encourage teamwork, perseverance and positive opportunities for youth.
