Get Out and Fish
Summer is the perfect time to get on the water and explore the natural beauty of Vernon Parish. Spend the day boating, tubing, kayaking or fishing at Anacoco Lake, Toledo Bend, Vernon Lake, the Sabine River or Toro Bayou. Don’t have fishing equipment? Stop by the Vernon Parish Library (Leesville branch) to borrow a fishing pole, reel and weights. Just bring a hook and bait, and you’ll be ready to fish!
