Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office DARE Officers Malissa Sweeney and Jacob Durrett attended the 35th Annual DARE Conference.

Sweeney and Durrett were pictured with Lia Parker, a Simpson High School student and State DARE Essay Winner, along with Lia’s mother, Tracee Parker, and Becca Durrett.

The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office congratulated Lia Parker on her accomplishment.
