Leesville High School has announced the promotion of longtime educator Lisa Haymon to a district leadership position with the Vernon Parish School Board.
According to the school, Haymon has served Leesville High School for many years, playing an active role in supporting students, faculty and daily campus operations. School officials credited her with helping strengthen academic programs while contributing to the school’s culture and overall success.
Throughout her tenure at Leesville High, Haymon was known for her dedication to students and staff, often arriving early and staying late to ensure the needs of the school community were met. Administrators said her leadership, work ethic and commitment to education have made a lasting impact on the campus.
In her new role as Curriculum Supervisor, Haymon will work across Vernon Parish to support instructional excellence, curriculum development and academic planning. The position will allow her to assist educators and students throughout the district while helping guide instructional initiatives and educational strategies.
