The Village of Anacoco will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on May 1 to mark the start of construction on the North Water Plant Ground Storage Tank.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. at 175 Courtney Lane and is open to community members, partners and local leaders.

Officials said the project is expected to strengthen local infrastructure and support future growth in the area.

The ceremony is being promoted by the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, which is encouraging residents to attend and take part in the milestone event.
