Byrd Regional Hospital offers childbirth, breastfeeding education classes

Byrd Regional Hospital is offering Childbirth and Breastfeeding Education classes aimed at helping expectant parents feel confident, informed, and prepared as they get ready to welcome a new baby.

The classes are designed to provide practical information and guidance on what to expect before, during, and after childbirth. Topics include preparing for labor and birth, comfort and pain management options, immediate postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding education, including positioning and latching techniques.

Classes are open to expectant mothers, their partners, and support persons, and will be led by the Byrd Regional Hospital Labor and Delivery team in a supportive and informative setting.

The next class is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 5:30 p.m. at Byrd Regional Hospital.
