
Luke Brandon, President & CEO of Merchants & Farmers Bank announces Melody Carter has been promoted to Cashier.

Carter began her career with Merchants & Farmers in July 2008 as a Teller and during her time employed, she has worked as a Vault Teller (North City and Fort Polk), New Accounts Representative, Teller Trainer, Loan Officer, AVP/Branch Manager (Rosepine, New Llano & Uptown), and in August of 2022 was promoted to AVP/New Accounts Supervisor at our Main Office.
As Cashier, Carter will be responsible for managing all branches’ cash totals for the multi-parish bank, reviewing various bank reports and reconciling corresponding bank statements.
A life-long Vernon Parish native and graduate of Anacoco High School, Melody resides in Leesville, Louisiana with husband of 23 years, Matt.
