Both Vernon Parish 12U All-Star baseball teams delivered standout performances at the district tournament over the weekend, securing first and second place finishes and earning spots in the upcoming state tournament.

Vernon National claimed the district title with an undefeated run, while Vernon American followed closely behind, finishing in second place. The strong showing from both teams highlights the depth of talent in Vernon Parish’s youth baseball program.

Both teams will advance to the state tournament in Buckeye later this month, where they’ll represent the parish against top competition from across Louisiana.
