MayFest, winner of the Louisiana Travel Association’s Louey Award for Festival of the Year, returns to Vernon Parish on May 2nd-3rd for a weekend filled with live music, food, and family fun and it’s completely free to attend. This year, the festival is growing and moving to a brand-new location at the Vernon Parish Fairgrounds, located at 276 HM Stevens Blvd. in Leesville.
With talented musicians taking the stage, vendors serving up homemade eats and handcrafted goods, and artists demonstrating their work, MayFest is a celebration of everything that makes this part of Louisiana so vibrant. It will be an action-packed weekend with a BBQ cook-off, mutton busting and roping! There are also children’s activities, so bring your lawn chairs, round up the whole family, and get ready for two full days of fun. Check out our schedule below!
