A memorial service will be held for Steven Lee Milstead on August 3, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church in Rosepine, Louisiana, under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.

Steven Lee Milstead was born on October 20, 1981, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Ronnie and Jeannie Milstead, and passed away on July 21, 2024. Steven was a full-time logger, and enjoyed his work, as he did the job for several years. When Steven wasn’t on the road logging, you could find him in the woods, or somewhere on the lake fishing. Steven took great pride in his family and loved them all dearly. On September 14, 2019, he had the great honor of becoming a grandpa, or popop. Every day, he looked forward to coming home from work and spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Preceding him in death was his sister, Sharee Milstead.

He is survived by his parents, Ronnie Milstead and Jeannie Milstead; brother, Timothy Milstead; wife, April Milstead; daughters: Destiny Wright, Savannah Milstead, Dixie Milstead; sons, Caleb Wright (April), and Hunter Wright; granddaughters, Vera-Fay Wright and Eva-Rose Wright, as well as numerous uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
