The Vernon Community Action Council is hosting a school supply distribution featuring backpacks and supplies for Vernon Parish low-income students. Applications are being accepted through Thursday, July 18 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the VCAC offices on Highway 171 south.

All adults must have a picture ID, Social Security cards for all household members, and proof of residency in Vernon Parish.   The VCAC may require more information when you apply.  For more information on this program call the VCAC at 337-404-7710.
