The Leesville Mayor’s Women’s Commission recently presented their October 2023 Civic Awards for Beautification to two Leesville citizens.
The residential winner was Stacie Warden who lives at 801 Dennis Avenue. Her yard is decorated on two sides with a stunning collection of Halloween curiosities. She invites everyone to stop by on October 31st when she’ll be passing out candy for any Trick-or-Treaters brave enough to enter the yard. The commercial winner was The Circle, Byrd Regional Chapter located at 120 South Third Street. The Circle, funded by Byrd Regional Hospital, is free to join for those over age 50, and offers a variety of social activities for its members.
