Recent Arrests by Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office

Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

December 17, 2025

Demetria Huff, age 31, of New Llano, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant for Misdemeanor Probation and Parole. A detainer was placed on Huff and she remains in the VPSO jail.

Aaron Paul Conner, age 34, of Conroe, Texas, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, one count of Distribution of a Schedule II Narcotic, one count of Possession of a Schedule IV Narcotic, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $236,500. Conner remains in the VPSO jail.

Desiree Lee Duncan, age 49, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Damage to Property, one count of Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling, one count of Disturbing the Peace/Drunkenness, and one count of Resisting an Officer. Bond was set at $13,443. Duncan remains in the VPSO jail.
December 18, 2025

Michael Scott Evans, age 51, of Florence, Mississippi, was arrested on three outstanding Bench Warrants. Bond was set at $15,000. Evans posted bond and was released.

December 22, 2025

Paul Russell Williams, age 51, of Evans, was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Battery and one count of Criminal Damage to Property. Bond was set at $6,281. Williams posted bond and was released.

Michael Evans Scott, age 51, of Florence, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with one count of Improper Telephone Communications. Bond was set at $2,000. Scott posted bond and was released.

December 23, 2025

Kyeron George, age 26, of North Chesterfield, Virginia, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant. George was transferred to the Jasper County Jail.

December 28, 2025

Shaun Nicholas Holton, age 45, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery and one count of Disturbing the Peace. Bond was set at $3,381. Holton posted bond and was released.

Joseph Shannon Holton, age 49, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, one count of Disturbing the Peace, and an outstanding Bench Warrant for Non Payment of Child Support. Bond was set at $3,381 on the charges and no bond has been set on the Bench Warrant. Holton remains in the VPSO jail.

Andrew Michael Gwinn, age 19, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, one count of DWI – Underage- Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, and one count of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Bond was set at $29,061. Gwinn remains in the VPSO jail.

Oneka Stewart Hopkins, age 44, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Second Degree Battery and one count of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Bond has not been set and Hopkins remains in the VPSO jail.
