
Funeral services honoring the life of Kimberly Dawn Pridgen were held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco with Bro. Tinker Hillman and Bro. Michael Goins officiating. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Kimberly Dawn Pridgen was born on September 9, 1972, in Leesville to Ernest Lee and Jessie Tilley Pridgen. She passed away on March 29, 2024, in Leesville, at the age of 51. Kimberly faced many difficult obstacles in life, but she always had a smile! She was very loved at The Woodlands and was their sweetheart. Kimberly loved big, and her nieces were very special to her. She was their second momma and always had their back. Kimberly loved to play bingo, making arts and crafts, fishing, and made the absolute best mac-n-cheese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Jessie Mae Pridgen.
She is survived by her brothers, Larry Pridgen and wife Shaunda of Anacoco, and Garry Pridgen and wife Belinda of Hornbeck; nieces, Courtney, Allie, and Kealey Pridgen; great nephew, Braylon Hershberger; great nieces, Gracelyn Brack and Addie Pridgen.
Honored to serve as pallbearers were Garry Pridgen, Blayne “Blake” Hershberger, Tyler Belsha, Anthony Williams, Dewayne Perkins, and Christian Mott. Honorary pallbearers were Braylon Hershberger and CoyDell Jackson,”Paw Paw”.
The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Thakkar, Dr. Aymond and the entire ICU department at Byrd Hospital, and to The Woodlands for taking such good care of Kim!!
