In Remembrance: Vivian LaVern Hall Carver

Vivian LaVern Hall Carver was born in and grew up in Rosepine, Louisiana, on November 27, 1936, to Joseph Richard Hall and Vivian Francis Burrow Hall of Rosepine. After marriage, she became a resident of Burr Ferry for more than 50 years. Vivian then moved in with her daughters and their families for health assistance.  God came for Vivian on the 25th beautiful day of September 2023.

Vivian married Cullen Ray Carver at the young age of 15. She was a wonderful Godly mother, wife, and a happy housewife taking care of her husband, children, and her home. However, she did work some public jobs from time to time. She worked as a cook at Broyles Hospital, a Nurse’s Aide at Byrd Hospital, a cook at Assembly of God Daycare Center, and a cook at First Baptist Church Daycare Center, all in Leesville. Vivian loved the Lord and lived for him from a young age, taught her children about God, and always had her children in church. She was a wonderful God-loving wife and mother.
